Experienced HVAC Service Technician (Commercial & Industrial)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Year-Round Work

Our client has been in business for 40+ years and was recently acquired by a national leader in mechanical contracting. With strong demand and continued growth, they're expanding their service department and adding two experienced technicians.

What You'll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Install and replace HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform system inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
• Complete warranty work, system adjustments, and repairs
• Maintain accurate and detailed service documentation
• Interact professionally with clients on job sites

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
• EPA Universal Certification
• Strong troubleshooting skills on commercial HVAC systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with chillers, boilers, and cooling systems is a plus
• Mechanical and construction knowledge in industrial environments

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday
• Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (start/end times may vary by job)
• Average 40–50 hours per week
• Commercial and industrial only — no residential work
• Service team of 6, growing to meet increased demand

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
