HVAC Service Manager
As an HVAC Service Manager, you will be responsible for an in-office role managing a service department for a top HVAC contractor. While this is an in-office position, we are seeking someone with field and management experience. Time will also be spent out in the field with clients and the field team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor HVAC service technicians to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Manage daily service operations, including job scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and effective completion of service calls and maintenance contracts.
- Develop and implement safety procedures, quality control standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to technicians in the field.
- Oversee customer service activities, addressing escalated issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Track and analyze service department performance metrics (response times, job completion rates, profitability).
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for the service department.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, warranties, and inventory.
- Collaborate with sales and installation teams to identify opportunities for growth and cross-service.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with HVAC mechanical systems and maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC service contracts and procedures.
- 8-10 years of experience.
- OSHA 30 and EPA universal preferred.

Job Type & Location:
This is a Permanent position based out of Hauppauge, NY.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
