Join a nationally recognized leader in ice arena construction and custom refrigeration systems. This entry-level technician role offers hands-on experience building ice rinks across the country. You'll be part of a team installing everything from piping and insulation to subfloor systems. With 22 rinks scheduled for installation in 2026, this is a high-travel opportunity ideal for someone ready to work hard and grow with the company.
Assist in full ice rink installations: pipe laying, sand grading, vapor barrier setup, insulation, and subfloor construction
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Work collaboratively with crew members to meet project timelines
Maintain high standards of workmanship and reliability
6+ months of experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, or similar outdoor work
Comfortable using hand and power tools (e.g., tape measure, drills, saws)
Willing and able to travel for extended periods (2–3 weeks per job)
Reliable transportation
Willing to obtain a DOT physical card
Lodging covered during travel
Per diem for meals
Mileage reimbursement or company transport for local jobs
Vehicle and gas card provided upon hire
Travel to diverse locations including MT, CO, WI, CT, GA, FL, IA, and more
Monday–Saturday
10-hour days, 50–60 hours/week
Projects typically last 2–3 weeks
Interview is conversational with the owner, focused on reliability and long-term potential
The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.
