Hiring Medical Assemblers!! No Interview!! Saint Paul,MN

Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing medical components in a cleanroom environment. You will start in the coiling department, learning essential processes and working with coil winding machines. Over time, you will gain experience in various areas of the assembly process, enhancing your skill set in medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate coil winding machines and place coils on a spindle for the assembly process.
• Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes for 30-50% of the day.
• Work comfortably in both sitting and standing positions for up to 8 hours a day.
• Inspect and deburr parts using tools such as pliers, filers, and knives in the molding area.
• Assemble medical components using small hand tools and microscopes in the CEA Assembly areas.
• Utilize laser welding machines to weld small medical components with precision.
• Operate automated presses and stamping machines in the Implantable Housings area, ensuring parts are deburred and correctly assembled.

Essential Skills

• Experience with microscopes (4-6+ months).
• Experience in medical manufacturing or small part assembly (4-6+ months).
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Proficiency in using small hand tools under a microscope and without.
• Capability to follow written work instructions accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical inclination for working with machines in the housings area.
• Good hand dexterity, beneficial for candidates with experience in sewing or similar activities.
• Adaptability to cross-train in various assembly lines.

Work Environment

The role primarily takes place in a cleanroom environment, requiring gowning up (makeup and jewelry are permissible). Some positions are in a non-cleanroom area, which requires safety glasses and is slightly louder due to machinery. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
