Mechanical Installer

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various mechanical systems and interfaces within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can follow blueprints and standard operating procedures meticulously.

Job Title: Skilled Labor Technician (Contract Role)

Location: Liverpool, NY 13090

Pay: $24/hour

Duration: 6 to 8 weeks

Start Date: September 22, 2025

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (occasional overtime and Saturdays possible)

Position Overview

We are hiring dependable and mechanically inclined laborers for a short-term contract. This role involves hands-on installation work, cable routing, mechanical assembly, and general support in an industrial setting. Candidates should be comfortable using tools, reading blueprints and schematics, and working in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and cable installations, including chutes, systems, and HMIs
• Use hand and power tools to assemble components and route wiring
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and SOPs with precision
• Work safely at heights up to 6 feet and maintain quality standards throughout

Essential Skills

• Skilled in mechanical assembly, wiring, and general production techniques
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and sustained manual labor
• Experience in construction, carpentry, industrial repair, or related trades
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics

Work Environment

• Industrial facility with active installation projects
• Steel-toed boots, jeans, and work shirt required
• Team-oriented atmosphere with support from experienced supervisors
• Exposure to large-scale projects and potential for future travel opportunities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
