Inventory Specialist - Carlsbad - $20/HR - 1st Morning Shift

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist where you will be instrumental in handling materials safely and accurately within our ERP system to support production, quality, R&D, and administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize material handling equipment such as pallet racks, hand trucks, and motorized lifts to manage warehouse operations.
• Execute various warehousing procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Maintain an accurate inventory control system, leveraging ERP technology.
• Apply knowledge of BOMs, JIT, and FIFO concepts to optimize warehouse efficiency.
• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and customer inquiries or complaints.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with management and peers.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Strong working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems (ERP).
• Intermediate computer skills with word processors and spreadsheets.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• Effective analytical problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an FDA-regulated environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and analyze complex documents.
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
• Hands-on, self-directed, organized, and conscientious work ethic.

Work Environment:

The role operates under general supervision with a start time of 6 AM, Monday through Friday. You will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining safety and accuracy in material handling, contributing to various functional areas of the company.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
