Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker who will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, transporting it between terminals and aircraft, and ensuring proper handling of freight and company materials. This role involves both physical handling and administrative tasks related to the cargo operations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo (mail, express, freight, and company material) on and off aircraft.
• Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft.
• Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required.
• Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material at designated docks.
• Complete necessary forms and messages related to cargo operations.
• Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities.
• Comply with site security procedures for warehouse operations.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights and break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semi-trucks.
• Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents when accepting or delivering.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in loading, unloading, and material handling.

Work Environment

You will be working in an open warehouse environment, comfortable working around teams and under close supervision. Expect to lift up to 70 lbs in a high-noise level environment. Be adaptable, as shifts change every 3 months, with current shifts ranging from early morning to overnight.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
