Hiring For Slitter Machine Operator Pay Up To $20/hr.

Slitter Machine Operators in Piedmont, SC

Candidates will:

-Operate a film slitter rewinder machine to cut and size film

-Operate a core cutter machine to cut cores to size (that the film will be wrapped around).

-Use a pallet jack to load large spool of film onto the machine

-Read shop floor job jackets with work instructions

-Use a tape measure to measure cores, to the 16th of an inch

-Use a box cutter as needed

-Perform basic math calculations including multiplication, division, adding, and subtracting

-Lift smaller spools of film

-Label roles of film

-Palletize and wrap roles of film

-Use a touch screen to input information into the machine (i.e. break tension, footage).

-Change rolls of film as needed, up to 2x per hour

-Operate a bailer to crush scrap plastic as needed

-May use a forklift to grab rolls of film out of the warehouse

There is incremental OT once they prove to be self sufficient

-Looking for eager, inexperienced laborers.

-Entry level candidate will be paid $17hr. More advanced operator can make up to $20hr starting

Interviews will be with Tyler Spillers, who is the production team lead

Experience Level: Entry Level

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
