Job Description
As a Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment, floors, walls, and related facilities following established procedures and schedules. You will remove and replace machine components as needed for thorough cleaning and operate sanitation equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers, and custodial tools. Your role involves mixing and properly using cleaning and sanitizing chemicals in accordance with safety protocols, maintaining accurate sanitation records, logs, and documentation, and conducting routine maintenance on sanitation tools. Additionally, you will ensure the proper disposal of waste, scrap buildup, boxes, and other materials to maintain orderly work areas.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 45 to 65 degrees. The facility is FDA-regulated, housing around 50-75 employees. The sanitation schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 3 PM to 11 PM. Employees may work on various shifts, starting as early as 5 AM on certain production lines, with the potential for 9 to 12-hour workdays. The headquarters is based in Reading, PA.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.16 - $20.00/hr.
