Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector will perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts, ensuring they meet specifications and documenting findings accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances.
• Compare parts to blueprints to ensure they meet specifications.
• Document inspection findings accurately.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading.
• Quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with sheet metal inspection, including welds, bends, and holes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts.
• Sheet metal inspection experience preferred.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a clean, large-scale facility with three buildings. It operates in an assembly line and production setting. The facility is not air-conditioned and is smoke-free, with no designated smoking areas. Mandatory overtime may be required with advance notice, and personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, eye and ear protection, is required.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
