Production Helper

Assist with the production of aluminum powder by loading raw material into machines, removing metal, and operating screening/blending equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Load raw materials into machines and remove metal.
• Screen, blend, and pack aluminum powder into 55-gallon drums, Supersacs, or railcars.
• Operate blending towers and assist with furnace, screen, and blending operations.
• Move packed materials and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment, including working in varied weather conditions.

Essential Skills:

• General production experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate machines and perform general labor tasks
• Experience in construction, assembly, and machine operating
• Proficiency with forklifts, hand tools, and power tools
• Inspection and math skills
• Experience with concrete and tape measure

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and climb 3 flights of stairs multiple times during a shift
• Willingness to work 2-12 hour, 24/7 rotating shifts
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment with extreme heat and cold
• Ability to follow strict safety policies

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmerton, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
