Assembler

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for performing mechanical assemblies to build high-quality lawn care equipment such as aerators and blowers. These products are primarily used on golf courses and are crafted with precision, excluding lawn mowers. You will utilize hand and power tools, including power drills, torque wrenches, and pneumatic tools, while working off blueprints. You may be involved in sub-assemblies independently or full assemblies in a two-person team.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assemblies of lawn care equipment.
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and pneumatic tools.
• Work off blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Complete full assembly of products from start to finish.
• Depending on the department, assemble 15 units daily or 1 unit every 2-3 days.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools (6+ months).
• 1+ year of hands-on mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Excellent attendance with no more than 1 day missed per month.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good attitude and effort.
• Preferred experience in working on cars or as a lube/auto tech, either professionally or as a hobby.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fairly laid-back, medium-sized shop that is climate-controlled and not noisy. The environment is dynamic, with varying paces depending on project urgency. You may work alone or with a partner to complete assemblies, with training provided by a dedicated trainer. The role operates on a first shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with optional work on Fridays. The shop maintains a professional atmosphere with a focus on productivity.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BLAINE, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
