Machine Operator

As a sandblaster, your primary role will be to remove paint, rust, and other material build-ups from rough surfaces using specialized equipment that sprays abrasive materials. This process involves using a mixture of coarse sand and compressed air, which is forced through a hose at high pressure to smooth or clean surfaces. You may work with parts of varying sizes, processing between 15-20 parts per hour or up to 70-90 parts per hour. Additionally, you will utilize a Microvu, an electronic microscope, to take precise measurements and ensure the quality of parts.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and smooth surfaces.
• Use a Microvu to measure and verify the quality of parts.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality output.
• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with a team while maintaining individual work responsibilities.

• Experience with packaging, packing, and assembly line work

Work Environment:

This position is for a 1st shift role with hours from 8am to 4:30pm. You will be part of a team of approximately 10 people, working at your own desk or work station. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes, jeans or pants, and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
