We are seeking a skilled Light Industrial Assembler to perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. The ideal candidate will efficiently use hand and power tools, follow detailed work instructions, and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure precise assembly. This position involves identifying components for assembly, maintaining tolerances, and conducting disassembly, modification, rework, reassembly, and testing of units.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
• Identify and prepare components for assembly.
• Maintain tolerances as specified in work instructions.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test units as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly processes.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic light industrial setting with access to a range of tools and technologies. This position requires working the late shift from 3:30 PM to 2 AM, Monday through Thursday. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
