Janitor

As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of operating rooms and common areas. You will be responsible for removing trash and ensuring a hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean operating rooms and common areas thoroughly.
• Remove trash and dispose of it according to facility guidelines.
• Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Sanitize and disinfect surfaces to maintain a sterile environment.
• Engage in housekeeping, janitorial, and custodial duties as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting.
• Familiarity with housekeeping, janitorial, environmental service, and custodial tasks.
• Ability to vacuum and sanitize effectively.

Work Environment

You will work in a hospital setting, including operating rooms and emergency rooms. A uniform, consisting of a scrub top, will be provided. The position operates across all three shifts with current openings for hours from 5:00pm to 1:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75/hr.
