General Production Workers in Greenville, SC

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team. This role involves loading raw materials into machines, operating machinery to produce concrete stone, and ensuring quality control. Successful candidates will have basic mechanical skills and be comfortable with physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Load raw materials into machines to produce concrete stone.
• Change specifications on touch screens to produce correctly sized blocks.
• Operate machines and conduct quality control to ensure compliance.
• Clean out machines at the end of the day.
• Remove and lift materials, up to 100 lbs.

Essential Skills:

• General labor and production experience.
• Machine operation skills.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Understanding of tape measures and forklift operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, farming, or landscaping.
• Capability to work in an outdoor environment with variable weather conditions.
• Commitment to a labor-intensive role with long hours.
• Ability to perform light maintenance and other general tasks.

Work Environment:

This role is set in a semi-outdoor environment that is dusty, dirty, and hot. The work involves 12-hour shifts, either day or night, for 5-6 days a week. Buildings are covered but have openings for ventilation.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00/hr.
