Material Handler

The Warehouse Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse. This includes handling, storing, and shipping products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Unload, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
• Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate counts and proper storage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete necessary paperwork and electronic records for inventory and shipping.

Essential Skills:

• 1-3 years of Manufacturing and/or Distribution and logistics experience.
• 1-3 years of sit-down forklift experience.
• 1-3 years of palletizing, inventory, picking, and/or staging experiences.
• 1+ years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in inventory control, quality assurance, picking, and packing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• 6 months of manufacturing/production experience.

Work Environment:

Join a team of 270 internal employees spread over three buildings. Work in a dynamic inside/outside environment, assisting the manufacturing facility as part of the distribution team. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with shifts from 6am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-11pm.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50/hr.
