We are seeking skilled and motivated Electricians to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting with the assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and job specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly, installation, wiring, and testing of electrical equipment.
• Connect wiring and equipment as per code and job specifications.
• Perform conduit bending, pulling wire, and hanging.
• Assist with installing light fixtures and switches.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of hand tools.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate good listening skills.
• Maintain general cleanliness in the work area.
• Follow safety standards and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform any other tasks that may arise, as needed.

Essential Skills

• Basic safety knowledge.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Electrical hand tool knowledge and usage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical materials such as boxes, conduit, fittings, fasteners, wire, and devices.
• Ability to bend conduit ranging from 1/2" to 4".
• Knowledge of electrical theory, including voltage, amperage, grounding, wire size, and NEC electrical code.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical symbols.
• Ability to terminate and phase electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of overcurrent protection devices, lighting systems, fire alarms, and voice & data systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical theory and applied trade math.
• Knowledge of electrical terms and definitions.
• Ability to read and execute blueprint drawings and 1-line equipment distribution diagrams.

Work Environment

The work environment includes shifts from Monday to Saturday, with varying hours each day. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility, either indoors or outdoors, in conditions that may include tight spaces, heights, and exposure to dust and dirt. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repetitively, and work in extreme temperatures while adhering to safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Abbeville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
