Immediate Hiring - Manufacturing Technician - $20/hr
The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for manufacturing innovative smart tooling mandrels and bladders, crafting prototype composite parts for customers, and deploying these products at customer sites as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manufacture smart tooling mandrels and bladders.
- Craft prototype composite parts for customers.
- Deploy products at customer sites as necessary.
- Follow work instructions precisely and troubleshoot builds.
- Assemble products using hand tools and adhere to fabrication processes.
- Operate computers and other necessary equipment efficiently.
- Inspect composite materials and ensure quality standards are met.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in assembly, troubleshooting, and fabrication.
- Ability to operate computers.
- Adaptability to learn new procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with composite lay-up or pre-preg.
- Operating CNC or table cutters.
- Operating ovens or autoclaves.
- Operating sewing machines.
- Transferable skills from auto body work, sculpting, nail technology, or welding.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a clean room assembly and open shop floor, where employees will stand most of the day. There is a separate room for ovens and autoclaves. The dress code is casual, but safety shoes and glasses are required. The standard shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, with plans to open a second shift from 3pm to 11pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Xenia, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
