Production Associate

As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your tasks will include packing products, verifying and applying labels, stocking and restocking items, processing orders, and maintaining inventory control. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to input data accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Pack products efficiently and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Verify and apply labels accurately on all products.
• Stock and restock items as necessary to maintain workflow.
• Process orders promptly and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain inventory control by tracking and reporting stock levels.
• Clean the facility and production equipment, including bowls used in food production.
• Assist in various areas as a production helper when needed.
• Lift and move items weighing 50+ lbs consistently.
• Utilize a tablet for data entry and task management.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in food manufacturing, blending, or following recipes.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting documentation and work orders.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.
• Familiarity with using a tablet for data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and material handling.
• Experience in a production, blending, or compounding environment.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a flavor and fragrances facility where you will be exposed to various smells despite PPE usage. The position requires flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed, with shifts from 6:00am to 2:30pm. During high production periods, expect 12-hour days and work on Saturdays. A beard mask is required, or candidates must be clean-shaven.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CERRITOS, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr.
