General Production Worker

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you'll play a vital role on our production line. Your duties will include assembling materials, operating machines, and ensuring products meet quality standards before packaging them for shipment. Enjoy the opportunity to rotate to different positions based on your preference, providing variety in your daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line.
• Inspect parts for quality before placing them into boxes for shipment.
• Rotate between positions based on preference and operational needs.
• Work mandatory overtime when needed, including early starts, late finishes, and some Saturdays.
• Currently required to work 12-hour shifts.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a production worker, operator, assembler, or in a warehouse role within the last 6 months.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, specifically handling car hoods made of plastic and foam.
• Visual inspection experience with the ability to identify defects such as scratches, paint marks, or dents.
• A history of job stability, with at least 8 months tenure at each of the last three jobs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical skills.
• Experience in machine operating.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
