General Production Worker

Operate machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps, following work instructions. Responsibilities include gauging products, moving materials, maintaining documentation, understanding quality alerts, and repairing defective parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate all machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps.
• Learn how to gauge products as required.
• Move materials and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock.
• Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation as required.
• Understand quality alerts and report issues to team lead.
• Repair defective or rejected production parts daily.
• Analyze defects and assist with corrective action programs.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing with at least 2 years of experience in a production worker, operator, or assembler position.
• Good tenure in previous roles.
• Assembly experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Gauge experience is a plus.

Work Environment

The newly renovated plant is located in Warren, having moved from Oklahoma. It serves major automotive clients including Ford, GM, Tesla, and FCA as a global supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission, and electric drive components and systems. The facility operates various machines including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical equipment. Employees work 8 or 10-hour shifts across three different shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
