Construction Assemblers

Exciting opportunity hiring for construction assemblers to help build classified projects for various amusement parks and stadiums across the US.

Position is all in-house building, and assembly in the shop in Plymouth, MN.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in mechanical and component assembly and installation using hand and power tools.
• Attaching moving parts and sub-assemblies to basic assembly units
• Adjusting tension on nuts and bolts, or positioning parts, using hand tools
• Measuring instruments, to set specific clearance between moving and stationary parts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in understanding mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with a tape measure in both inches and metric
• Ability to set and use torque wrenches properly.
• Must understand the metric measurement, newton meters, and the standard (imperial/US) measurement, foot pounds.
• Understanding the safety of pneumatic (air) tools and compressors- understand how to set pressure and properly use.
• 1+ reading off blueprints or schematics
• Ability to drill and tap holes. Must understand how to use a tap drill chart and select the proper drill bit

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
