We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Food Services Worker to join our team within a hospital setting. The role involves washing dishes, delivering trays to patients, collecting trays after meals, prepping food, and reading meal tickets to make trays for patients. This position requires a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in food service areas.
• Deliver meal trays to patients and collect them after meals.
• Prepare food and read meal tickets accurately to assemble trays for patients.
• Maintain a customer service-oriented approach at all times.
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines.

Essential Skills:

• Customer service focus and ability to maintain hospitality standards.
• Attention to detail, particularly in keeping areas clean and organized.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• A good work history with 1+ year at most jobs is beneficial.
• Open to entry-level candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and customer service focus.

Work Environment:

The position is within a hospital food service setting, requiring adherence to dress codes including scrubs, hair nets, and beard nets. Tattoos must be covered. Employees must be flexible with working hours, including day shifts (5:30 am-2 pm), evening shifts (10:30 am-7:30 pm), and rotating weekends.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
