Job Description

Responsible for the final preparation of all food items served in the food service area in accordance with guidelines and regulations. The role involves correctly portioning and plating food based on work instructions, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and following all safety and sanitation procedures.

Work Environment

The role is based in a kitchen environment inside a hospital, emphasizing teamwork to meet the dietary needs of patients, hospital staff, and visitors. The dress code includes black pants, a black shirt, and slip-resistant shoes. The work schedule is consistent, with shifts of 40 hours. After becoming permanent, employees work every other weekend.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr.
