Flight Operations Drone Operator

Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage ground equipment, including batteries and related hardware, to support daily drone flights.
- Observe local airspace for potential hazards and promptly report concerns.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory tracking and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Follow established protocols to maintain operational safety and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for community members, answering general questions about our services.
- Accurately log activities and maintain records using company templates and digital tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to detailed procedures.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Drone operations
- Exposure to aviation, aerospace, or drone-related operations.
- Understanding of aviation terminology and regulatory standards.

Work Conditions
- Contract: 12 months with potential for extension or permanent placement.
- Schedule: 6:45 AM–6:00 PM, four-day workweek (Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday). Holiday shifts may be required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for up to 12 hours, and perform frequent bending, reaching, and squatting.
- Environment: Indoor/outdoor warehouse setting with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Travel: Up to 25% as needed.
- Compliance: Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive duties per FAA guidelines
This is a Contract position based out of Waco, TX.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
