Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low-pressure blowers. You will also pressure wash and clean the customer's equipment pad, including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks. Effective communication with customers and the Service Manager about all services performed and presenting options for necessary repairs, upgrades, or other needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service and troubleshoot air compressors and dryers.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks.
• Communicate with customers and Service Manager regarding services performed.
• Complete service-related documentation, including service reports and warranty forms.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems as needed.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians.
• Travel to customer locations for service tasks.

Essential Skills

• Electrical maintenance ranging from 220V to over 4,000V.
• PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
• Mechanical maintenance.
• CMMS documentation and coordinating service tasks.
• Outstanding customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in field service or industrial/facility maintenance.
• Electrical maintenance experience required.
• Diesel maintenance experience preferred.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS.

Work Environment

Field Service Technicians will work in various locations, with openings currently available in Arlington, WA, and potential opportunities in LA, TX, and MS. The role requires travel to client sites throughout the USA, participating in a rotating on-call pool. A professional attire is expected while on duty, ensuring safety and adherence to facility protocols.

This is a Permanent position based out of Maryville, Illinois.

Up to $90k/year

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93600.00/yr.
