Aerotek is hiring a service technician for a long-term and full-time opportunity in Kamloops, Vernon, and Salmon Arm.

Must Haves

• 1+ years of experience with electromechanical repair and maintenance
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and technical repair skills
• Experience using multimeters
• Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed
• Driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Job Description

We are seeking a service technician for the interior team: Kamloops, Vernon, and Salmon Arm 75% of the time with the other 25% being out of town. Will be working with the Kelowna and Chilliwack service technicians when needed.

• Scheduling and providing preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities
• Effectively promoting and selling service agreements and products to existing customers
• Supervising equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services
• Instructing customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment
• Assisting sales personnel in marketing all equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads)
• Maintaining an organized parts inventory in a clean company vehicle
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Pay

$65,000 - $70,000

Hours

Monday-Friday

8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

(Averaging hours, set their own daily/weekly schedule within shift)

Candidates will be managing their own workload and responsible for setting up and scheduling their day/weeks.

They can start at home then will be traveling for service calls or doing preventative maintenance/upgrade calls

There is no physical office location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $70,000.00/yr.
