Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for interpreting and marking up GA, P&ID's, and detailed manufacturing drawings to required standards. You will utilize project support documents during equipment and system assembly and testing, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, and may write, program, and edit PLC control and HMI systems. You will perform service at client sites and generate service reports, providing assembly and test support for Factory Acceptance, installation, and Site Acceptance activities, understanding validation requirements in completing the paperwork. This role requires national and international travel on a regular basis, approximately 80% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and mark-up GA, P&ID's, and detailed manufacturing drawings to required standards.
• Utilize project support documents during equipment and system assembly and testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems, including writing, programming, and editing PLC control and HMI systems.
• Perform service at client sites and generate detailed service reports.
• Provide assembly and test support for Factory Acceptance, installation, and Site Acceptance activities.
• Understand and complete validation paperwork requirements.

Essential Skills:

• Troubleshooting skills
• PLC Programming
• Installation expertise

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with installation and start-up of direct expansion refrigeration systems, pneumatics, electrical controls, air systems, and steam systems.
• Experience with computers and writing, programming, editing PLC's is a plus.
• Ability to tune PID Controls

Work Environment:

Work in a small company environment with 25-30 employees, characterized by a very laid-back atmosphere. The role is deadline-driven, given the company's size and project demands. You will work on a 1st shift schedule with a business casual dress code.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Hatfield, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr. Per Diem Overtime Health / Medical / Dental / Vision
