Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation of laser systems and providing initial operational and maintenance training to end customers. This role involves maintaining direct post-sale relationships with key customer stakeholders and offering continuous product improvement input. Additionally, the technician will conduct customer support meetings, manage customer action items, and provide support through online, web, telephone, and email communication when not actively engaging with key customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with laser system installation and provide initial operational and maintenance training to end customers.
• Maintain direct post-sale relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Provide continuous product improvement input.
• Conduct customer support meetings and manage customer action items.
• Offer online, web, telephone, and email support for legacy systems.

Essential Skills:

• Field service experience.
• Proficiency in laser systems and laser technology.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Working knowledge of servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of laser technology.
• Proficiency with graphics design and CAD software packages and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in the technology field within a customer service manner.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical support experience.
• Experience with a field service.
• Proficient in understanding technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints, and effective utilization during technical support events.

Work Environment:

The work environment includes a shift schedule from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The role requires extensive travel, up to 75% of the time, and involves working with advanced laser technology and equipment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Permanent position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr. Full Benefits - health care, vision, dental.
