Field Service Technician

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing baghouse tasks such as filter bag and cage installation, baghouse repairs, and other duties as directed by the Baghouse Crew Supervisor. You will develop and maintain a working knowledge of products, installation techniques, and specifications for all projects. You will ensure that vendors and contractors have the appropriate certifications to meet safety compliance standards. This position requires travel to various locations, ranging from 50-100%, and attendance at all required site-specific training sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform filter bag and cage installation and baghouse repairs.
• Maintain knowledge of products, installation techniques, and specifications.
• Ensure vendors and contractors have appropriate safety certifications.
• Travel to various locations as required.
• Attend site-specific training and safety sessions.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in mechanical repair and hand tool usage.
• Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to use a laptop or pad for documenting job notes and emails.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 15 feet and stairs up to 7 stories.
• Capability to lift boxes, equipment, and parts weighing 50-75 lbs.

Work Environment:

The work environment is dry and dirty, and can become quite hot. You will be required to wear a respirator due to dust and particles present in the baghouse.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
