You'll work independently, solve problems on the spot, and build strong relationships—all while making a real impact in your community.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic inspections on diesel engines
• Service and repair heavy-duty equipment: generators, compressors, forklifts, trucks
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and exhaust systems
• Replace worn components: hoses, belts, filters, batteries
• Maintain digital service logs and repair reports
• Educate customers on proper equipment use
• Ensure safety compliance and keep your work area clean
• Build trust with foremen and clients through professional service
• Be available for on-call support during peak times

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ years of diesel engine repair & maintenance
• Valid driver's license with clean record
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and use diagnostic tools
• Experience with boom lifts, generators, pumps
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors

Nice-to-Haves

• Diagnostic testing & troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication & customer service
• Self-motivated with solid time management
• Comfortable using digital tools for service reporting
• Adaptable to changing jobsite needs

Work Environment

• Small crew (2-person team)
• PPE required: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots
• Outdoor jobsite conditions
