Maintain hospital facilities in a clean and sanitary condition, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Stock and maintain your own cleaning cart daily.
• Perform daily cleans of patient rooms lasting 15 minutes, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and removing soiled linens.
• Perform discharge cleans of rooms lasting 45 minutes, including fully wiping every surface in a patient's room and utilizing different cleaning chemicals for different surfaces and patient statuses.
• Follow strict sanitization procedures to focus on infection control.
• Refer to laminated SOPs provided on each cart for technicians.
• Conduct daily cleans and discharge cleans primarily during the morning shift.
• Clean public areas such as lobbies, rehab gyms, cafes, stairwells, and offices, including vacuuming, trash removal, and mopping.
• Collaborate with nursing and office staff to access and clean all areas at appropriate times.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in janitorial duties, mopping, sanitizing, and cleaning.
• Back in cleaning operations focused on infection control.
• Attention to detail to follow procedures closely.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals for different applications.
• Skills in sweeping and buffing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Preferred experience in a hospital setting.

Work Environment:

Work in a clean, climate-controlled hospital setting, both in and out of patient rooms. The hospital is a newer facility with 40 beds upstairs and 20 beds downstairs. There are two shifts available: 1st shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd shift runs from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miamisburg, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
