Environmental Service Attendant

The Environmental Service Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in facilities or locations, such as commercial healthcare settings, schools, universities, or other establishments. The role requires flexibility in shift work and provides an opportunity to work in various client premises.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and orderly environment.
• Manage inventory, track progress, and report on cleaning activities.
• Collect linens and dispose of trash, including hazardous waste.
• Mop, sweep, dust, and disinfect assigned areas.
• Work in any location on client premises, ensuring cleanliness in commercial healthcare, educational institutions, or other establishments.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and janitorial services.
• Ability to perform large-scale cleaning and janitorial tasks.
• Proficiency in sanitizing and sanitation procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in environmental services is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt to different work environments and shift schedules.

Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital setting, requiring adaptability to a healthcare environment. Shifts are varied, including 7-3:30pm, 3-11:30pm, and 11-7:30am, providing flexibility in work hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a 17 week Contract position based out of Flint, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.34 - $16.34/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
