  • Handle, move, and position parts and materials safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Support general labor tasks such as basic assembly, warehouse activities, or production support as needed.
  • Operate or assist with material handling equipment, such as forklifts, when trained and authorized.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the painting station and surrounding production space.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment.

  • Comfort working in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to working safely and following all safety guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with painting in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience in general labor, production, assembly, warehouse, or manufacturing work.
  • Familiarity with forklifts or other material handling equipment.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and cross-train in additional production duties.
  • No specific formal education or certifications required for this position.

Why Work Here?

This role offers a straightforward way to build or expand your experience in a manufacturing environment while learning practical, hands-on skills. You will have the opportunity to grow beyond the core painting tasks by training on additional duties as you demonstrate reliability and strong performance. The team values consistent attendance, safety, and a strong work ethic, and supports individuals who want to develop their capabilities over time.

Work Environment

The position is based in a heat treat plant that is generally very hot and can be dirty, reflecting a typical heavy industrial setting. The designated painting area is air conditioned, providing a more comfortable workspace for much of the day, while other parts of the plant remain very hot. Steel-toe safety boots are required, and safety glasses are provided. You will work around manufacturing equipment, production lines, and warehouse areas, and must be comfortable in an industrial environment with noise, heat, and physical activity.
