Entry Level Assembler Role - Elgin - $18/hr - 1st Shift, 2 And Weekend

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on their feet throughout the day and will be eager to collaborate with others. This role involves being cross-trained in various areas to ensure a seamless workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and document incoming parts and equipment.
• Perform a manual factory reset by pressing a button.
• Conduct an automatic test by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs, with cycle times ranging from 60 to 90 minutes.
• Perform Wi-Fi and elevated temperature tests.
• Conduct cosmetic cleaning and repairs as needed.
• Execute in-process quality control (IPQC) to maintain standards.
• Assemble kits and pack out/pallet build for shipping.
• Ensure all parts are scanned at every step of the process.

• Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Hand dexterity is essential.
• Punctuality and reliability are highly valued.
• Experience with assembly, repair, and quality inspection.
• Familiarity with soldering, test equipment, RF scanner, computer use, blueprint reading, and power tools.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
