Electrician

We are seeking a skilled electrician to perform electrical maintenance and repairs on cold header, cold forming, tapping, and press machines. You will be responsible for troubleshooting 480V electrical systems, running conduits for facilities and machinery, reading electrical schematics daily, wiring equipment for new installations and relocating existing equipment, and troubleshooting electrical panels. The role requires the ability to work at heights using a scissor lift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on various industrial machines.
• Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems using volt meters and other tools to identify causes of issues.
• Run conduit for facilities and machines as required.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics daily.
• Wire equipment for new installations and relocations.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical panels.
• Work at heights using a scissor lift when necessary.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Skilled in point-to-point wiring for new installations.
• Comfortable working at heights on a lift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman Certification is a plus.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (preferred brands include Siemens).

Work Environment

Our facility operates in a heavier industrial work environment, where maintenance roles may get greasy and dirty. The production area, which includes large cold forming, cold heading, and tapping machines, can be loud at times (hearing protection required). The shipping and receiving area is quiet and well-organized. The 350k square foot manufacturing facility includes production, shipping, receiving, machining, and visual inspection departments, with 106 manufacturing floor employees. Shifts are available on the 1st (starting at 6 am) or 2nd (starting at 3 pm with a $3.50/hour shift premium), working 8-10 hour shifts Monday through Friday.

This is a permanent position based out of Medina, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72030.40 - $72030.40/yr.
