Electrical Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Pay Up To $32/hr

Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team on the first shift. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and components, with a focus on electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and components, focusing 80% on electrical and 20% on mechanical work.
• Handle 480v and 3-phase motors, including installation, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Exhibit strong PLC troubleshooting skills, with an emphasis on working with VFDs and HMIs.
• Install various equipment from light curtains to industrial machines such as hydraulic presses, washers, and robotics.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Conduct mechanical stripping and rebuilding of machinery.
• Perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• Collaborate with industrial networks and the machine shop team.
• Possess robotic experience, particularly with Fanuc or Kuka, for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs and VFDs.
• Experience with 480v and 3-phase systems.
• Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics, machine repair, and mobile equipment repair.
• Experience in industrial automation and control systems, with 7+ years of experience required if no diploma or degree in the field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic and mechanical presses.
• Experience with programming and drives, especially VFDs from Danfoss, SEW, and Siemens.
• Robotic experience with Fanuc or Kuka.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
