Are you a skilled diesel mechanic who thrives in the field and enjoys solving problems independently? Join our Cedar Rapids data center team as a Field Service Specialist, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability of our diesel-powered backup systems and support equipment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on diesel engines and backup generators
• Service and repair heavy-duty equipment including compressors, forklifts, and support vehicles
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and exhaust systems
• Replace worn components (hoses, belts, filters, batteries)
• Maintain accurate digital service logs and work orders
• Educate site staff on proper equipment usage and care
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Build strong relationships with site managers and technical teams
• Provide on-call support during peak operational periods or outages

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
