Food Service Worker
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cook/Prep Cook to support dining operations from Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 9pm. This role involves operating point-of-sale systems, handling cash transactions, assisting with food preparation and service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment. Building positive relationships with coworkers and students is an important part of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions in dining areas.
- Assist with receiving and stocking food supplies.
- Support food preparation and service in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in food service areas.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in food service or kitchen support.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Dependable, trainable, and able to work independently when needed.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, dining hall, or similar setting preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
