Concrete Finisher

A commercial concrete contractor is seeking a reliable, hard-working Concrete Finisher for a full-time position. This role offers internal opportunities for year-round employment in our snow removal division.

Responsibilities:

• Form sidewalks, entries, steps, and other concrete structures.
• Pour and finish concrete with precision and skill.
• Perform all aspects of labor related to concrete finishing.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and rebar effectively.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial and/or residential concrete finishing.
• Proficiency in set-up and finishing of all aspects of concrete work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all concrete finishing tools.
• Physical ability to handle labor-intensive tasks such as kneeling, bending, lifting, pouring, and shoveling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• CDL A and heavy equipment experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Work is conducted outdoors in both winter and summer conditions. The workday begins at the shop at 5:30 AM, with the crew traveling to the site by 6:30 AM. Work typically concludes between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Snow removal duties are expected in the winter months.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
