Responsibilities

  • Perform minor setup and operation of CNC machines on the production line according to established procedures and specifications.

  • Monitor control panel displays to detect malfunctions, identify abnormal conditions, and make small adjustments as needed.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on machines when parts or programs are not running correctly and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized machine area throughout the shift and perform thorough cleaning at the end of each shift.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on the warehouse/production floor.
  • Work 3rd shift from Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with occasional adjusted hours of 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM as needed.
  • Be available for mandatory overtime, including working a sixth day per week when required.

Essential Skills

  • Prior CNC operating experience with strong familiarity in day-to-day CNC machine operation.
  • Ability to turn on CNC machines, load parts, start the cycle, and complete the full basic operating sequence independently.
  • Experience selecting and running CNC programs, including choosing the correct program based on job specifications.
  • Capability to recognize when a CNC program or process is not running correctly by evaluating how parts are coming out.
  • Proficiency in visual inspection of parts for defects and use of micrometers and calipers for dimensional checks.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a strong attendance record, supported by references.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Comfort working in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
  • Willingness and ability to work 3rd shift and mandatory overtime as scheduled.
  • Ability to wear and work in steel-toed boots or shoes throughout the shift.

  • Background in production, machine operation, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.
