CNC Machinist- Custom Tooling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team in a non-production, custom tooling environment. This role is ideal for a machinist who thrives on variety, precision, and problem-solving. You will work on a wide range of custom projects, manufacturing and repairing precision tooling for diverse customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM machines
  • Program jobs conversationally at the machine controller
  • Manufacture and repair custom tooling based on customer specifications
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
  • Troubleshoot and maintain older CNC equipment
  • Adapt to changing job requirements and project scopes

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in CNC machine operation and programming
  • Strong experience with CNC mills, lathes, and EDM machines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
  • Wire EDM and precision grinding experience in a tool and die setting is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

The pay range for this position is $66500.00 - $79000.00/yr. Company provides 401k with match, health, vision, and dental. Periodic employee wellness events and company gatherings.

This is a fully onsite position in Maple Grove, MN.
