This role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components from engineering blueprints. You will program directly at the machine, perform complete setups, and ensure all parts meet strict quality and dimensional standards. In a small, collaborative team where everyone wears multiple hats, you will also support other areas such as the stock room, assembly, and shipping as needed.

The company offers bi-weekly pay with eligibility for overtime, a structured 90-day probationary period followed by a performance review, and the opportunity to join a union after 30 days of employment. Union membership includes a clear dues structure and access to negotiated benefits. The retirement program includes a company match of 4% on the first 4% deferred and an additional 0.5% on the next 2%, for a total potential match of 5% on 6% deferred. This is a first-shift position with hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. The shop is climate-controlled with both air conditioning and heat, providing a comfortable environment year-round. The facility is extremely well lit with new LED lighting, and the team takes pride in maintaining a very clean, organized, and well-spaced layout. The shop currently operates a manual lathe and will be adding a new CNC machine, creating an environment that values modern equipment and continuous improvement.
