As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production and packaging of components used in medical devices at our new Grand Rapids, MI site. You will be working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement in line with production goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
• Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Operate packaging machines.
• Box and apply labeling materials.

Essential Skills

• No experience required.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
• Experience using measuring devices and hand tools.

Work Environment

The role is based in a cleanroom manufacturing environment that requires wearing personal protective equipment, including eyewear, earplugs, hair net, and protective gowning. The position offers a 2nd shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
