CDL Driver/Field Service Technician

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with a CDL-A license to join our team. This role combines technical expertise with customer service and logistics to ensure secure, on-site shredding and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will travel to client sites, operate and maintain shredding equipment, drive our custom-built trucks, and manage daily operations, including inventory control and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to provide on-site shredding services.
• Operate and maintain shredding equipment and custom-built trucks.
• Manage daily operations, including inventory control and client interaction.
• Ensure secure and efficient shredding operations.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients.

Essential Skills

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Experience in operating and maintaining industrial machinery or similar technical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management processes.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to handle equipment setup and operation.
• Clean driving record required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.

Work Environment

Work independently with minimal supervision. Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
