Building Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer with experience in a multi-tenant office building environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with water source heat pumps and general maintenance. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds, utilizing multiple trade skills.

Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.

Utilize trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

Oversee and inspect the work performed by outside contractors for services such as landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning.

Perform assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Complete maintenance and repair records as required.

Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs.

Experience in a multi-tenant office building.

Experience with water source heat pumps.

General maintenance experience.

Mechanical aptitude and understanding.

Experience with general HVAC systems.

Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, painting, plumbing, and carpentry.

The work is conducted in a 110,000 square foot Class A, multi-tenant office building. The standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yardley, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
