Building Engineer

Pay: $25-$26 an hour to start//Looking to hire immediately!

Job Description

Support the day-to-day maintenance and operational needs of multiple medical office locations. This role ensures that facilities remain safe, functional, and compliant with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and general maintenance of medical office equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure, such as lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot minor repairs, including leaky faucets, faulty outlets, and broken furniture.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of utility areas, storage rooms, and mechanical spaces.
  • Monitor and restock maintenance supplies and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
  • Document work performed and maintain maintenance logs.
  • Support emergency response protocols, such as power outages and water leaks.

  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Experience in healthcare or clinical settings is a plus

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mullica Hill, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
