Assistant Maintenance Engineer

The Assistant Maintenance Engineer will supervise, train, and direct maintenance supervisors and personnel, inspect the plant daily, and provide assistance to the Maintenance Engineer in all daily tasks. This role also requires hands-on maintenance when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and direct maintenance supervisors and personnel.
• Inspect the plant daily to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist the Maintenance Engineer in all daily tasks.
• Provide hands-on maintenance support as necessary.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in working with 3-phase, 480V systems.
• Experience with assembly, changeovers, and controls specialization.
• Knowledge of conveyors, feed systems, gearboxes, and hydraulics.
• Ability to maintain and operate various mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Experience as a technician, maintenance mechanic, or maintenance technician.

Work Environment:

The team consists of 24 members and operates under a 24-hour schedule with shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM and 6 PM to 6 AM. Candidates must be flexible with shifts, willing to work any day of the week, including weekends, and open to overtime. The work environment is a bakery located in Fells Point, which can be extremely hot, especially during the summer months.

This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Will get their full-time benefits.

This is a fully onsite position in Baltimore, MD.
