Production Assembler

Join our team as a Production Assembler, where you will assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using a variety of tools and assembly process equipment. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in areas such as mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing. This role involves frequent use of screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and hand soldering, depending on the department. You may also work with a variety of adhesives and chemicals used in the assembly process, utilize computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes, and perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products.
• Cross-train in mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing areas.
• Use screwdrivers and torque wrenches frequently.
• Perform hand soldering as required.
• Utilize a variety of adhesives and chemicals in the assembly process.
• Operate computer workstations for record-keeping and testing.
• Perform electronic testing on final assemblies.
• Conduct quality control inspections.
• Lift up to 40 pounds consistently.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools, soldering, small screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with soldering and using microscopes.
• Experience in PCB or small part assembly.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
